What started as a kitchen table project between a mom and daughter has quickly become something more: a space where creativity, connection, and kindness come together — one magnet at a time.
At the heart of The Magpie and Kind is Em, a spirited, thoughtful, and creative soul who loves collecting beautiful moments and turning them into something you can hold on to. After a tough school year filled with friendship challenges, she began channeling her feelings into something positive — making custom magnets that celebrate special memories, people, and pets.
While Mom handles the sharp scissors, Em does the rest — from sorting supplies and assembling magnets to packaging orders with care. Each piece is handmade with love (and a bit of sparkle).
But our purpose goes beyond pretty magnets.

Em’s experiences inspired us to donate 10% of each set sold to causes and resources that help girls navigate friendship, communication, and confidence. One day, we hope to launch The Magpie Foundation — a mission for girls to gather, grow, and learn how to lift each other up.
